Ian McQueen, Managing Director

enjoyed a very successful 25 years in semiconductors, with Motorola (Scotland and France) in product engineering and marketing, Mitsubishi Electric (Germany) as the European Micro Component Marketing Manager, Philips Semiconductors (Germany) as the Global Transistor Operations Manager, running and growing the business to over 200 million euro turnover, with full P&L responsibility, leading a cross-functional team of technical and commercial staff in a multi site operation (Germany, China, Malaysia). Since 2002 working as a semiconductor recruitment specialist, Ian has made many high level placements (CEO/GM/VP) in the US, Japan, Asia and Europe. With experience across the semiconductor industry Ian has a vast network of connections and is a very capable judge of candidates‘ talents and capabilities. Outside of work Ian loves SCUBA diving, F1 and cooking, but especially spending time with his family.
